Clove oil is widely known to help numb bites, while lavendar and tea-tree oil have anti-bacterial properties. Vitamin E assists healing. Peppermint and rosemary essential oil are known for their pain relieving qualities and hemp and castor oils are known for reducing inflammation.

The base of the Rescue Balm is made up of beeswax and cocoa butter to keep it in a convenient solid form, while the jojoba oil keeps the balm soft enough for it to be applied easily.
